The Redbird Professional Development program helps secondary teachers introduce aviation content and flight simulation technology into their classrooms. By combining ground training and hands-on flight simulation experiences, the two-day program demonstrates how educators can maximize their aviation coursework to increase student engagement in aviation-track and general education classrooms.
We designed the professional development program to accommodate the goals and experience levels of the customer. It incorporates universal aviation and flight simulation content appropriate for all audiences with content tailored for your organization’s specific objectives, curricula, and resources.
At the conclusion of the program, educators will be able to integrate aviation coursework into their classes, develop their own lesson plans, and effectively implement and operate their flight simulators in an interactive educational environment. Previous experience with aviation content, flight simulation, or pilot training is not required. We approach each program with a blank slate unless you tell us otherwise!
