Navigator Upgrade
Upgrade to Redbird Navigator
Big Improvements, Easy Installation
Redbird Navigator is the new operating system for our simulators. It allows for users to wirelessly interact with the simulator (start flights, induce failures, change weather, etc.) in a user-friendly and easily understandable interface. Upgrading to Navigator is highly encouraged and should make you, your instructors, and your students much happier when using your Redbird.
If you own or operate a MCX, FMX, MX2, SD, or LD running Windows 7 and you can get it connected to the internet, you're eligible for the Navigator upgrade. Congrats! If your Redbird is less than a year old or you've got a current Service Agreement the upgrade is free. Not sure if you meet these requirements or want to see how you can? Just submit the form on this page and we'll let you know.
We'll be upgrading all eligible units over the next 6-8 months. Customers that contact us will get pushed to the top of the list and will be upgraded as soon as possible. Requesting this upgrade can be done by calling (512) 301-0718, emailing support@redbirdflight.com, or by using the form on this page.
The upgrade process begins when you get a Navigator Installation kit in the mail from us. Just follow the handy guide we've included in the kit, then give support a call to set up a time to complete the software install. The software installation takes between 30 minutes to an hour for us to complete depending on internet speed and any questions you may have during the walkthrough. That's it.
